Default The Gulches - Colorado trail run 4-16-2011

The weather was beautiful for a trail run today in Colorado. I think we had a total of 10 Jeeps in the group.

We ran Hackett Gulch, Longwater Gulch, and a few stayed for Metberry Gulch.

Thanks to MusicBug for planing the trip. I am looking forward to seeing the other pictures that were shot today. Post them up!

Enough chat, here are a few pics I took

The meet up at McDonald's

Heading out...

Airing down

A few from another group

Here we go

Wow man, nice pics. I especially dig the C130 shots, that was a nice surprise at lunch. I had no idea JK-forum runs had their own military fly-by's.

It was a great time, thanks for the great pics, BackwoodJK!

Turns out, Metberry Gulch was the best of the three trails. More obstacles, longer trail, and a HUGE payoff at the end where it takes you right to the water and a specatular camping spot. The camping area was large enough for several groups to fit without crowding each other out.

I got a couple of vids from my dashcam, I will edit them and get them up sometime today.

Ha, that figures. I still needed to get home though, it was a full 12 hour day for me. Good to know for next time though.

Just a short little clip of one of the obstacles on Metberry.

Available in all it's HD glory if you have the bandwidth. Will post the other one once it finishes uploading.
