thought i would post a few pics from our hammers run last weekend...we ran cougar butes,bullfrog and then headed out across the desert where we headed over to backdoor before we ran clawhammer jackhammer and sledgehammer...believe it or not we were able to do this all in one pretty long day...we headed out about 4:30 am and finished up our run at about 8:30 pm...the best part is thst even after such a long grueling day and lots of cussing and throwing fits we are all still friends

Nice! Thank you for sharing these. I've not yet had the galls to try the hammers quite yet. Open diffs and a D30 front think these trails would break my rig. But looks like I'd have a blast doing it!

Did you see my camp site just to the right of the entrance to Clawhammer? I started late in the day but solo wheeled Claw, Big Johnson, Chocolate Thunder and visited with KOH rig friends in the 4411 car on Saturday. Good weather for wheeling!

Did anyone run Backdoor in your group? I saw groups of buggies doing it (and rolling) Sunday, but no full bodied rigs.

I saw groups of buggies doing it (and rolling) Sunday, but no full bodied rigs.[/QUOTE we didn't give backdoor a try and i didn't see your camp site but we hit clawhammer early saturday morning...i don't know witch side you were camped on but we ran up it over and then on to jack and sledge...there were two rigs from poison spyder'one waiting for parts at the beginning of claw we stopped and talked to on the way up...too bad you didn't bump into us,we wouldn't have minded having you along one bit...

 

I was camped on the side closest to Means Dry Lake just above the wash but I didn't make it in till about noon. Let me know if you want to get together and run some Hammer trails, I am out there as frequently as possible with the weather cooling off.
