Default JK-Forum 59th Street Run

A group of us from JK-Forum went for a run at 59th Street in Oklahoma City. Some folks from MilJeepers also joined us. Afterward we had a great picnic and grilled some burgers at Optimist Park. That got the attention of the fire department, who told us we could only use gas (the fireman said it had been sent out by e-mail the night before because I had checked the online Forestry Dept postings right before we started grilling and it said charcoal was okay--besides, the winds were dead calm despite 50 MPH forecasts! So we put out the charcoal and got my gas grill. Then the fire department returned an hour later, said they'd had another complaint, and that they would talk to the lady who was calling them in and let her know we were okay. LOL.

Not quite all of the Jeeps and peeps. We had one getting a new u-joint, and a couple who stayed with him while he worked.

I don't know for sure, but this was after running down the creek then a hard turn to reach the top of a bit of a steep hill. I'd guess he did it while coming up that.
