Attached are a few pics from Saturday’s run at Cleghorn Ridge. As in my last post of pics I apologize but at the current moment the Iphone is all I have to take pics. Unfortunately, I was not able to take too many actions shots and most of the attached pictures are of the current terrain and my hood. Still helps give a decent idea. Oh this was the first run I brought my little co-pilot on, it was awesome!

Most of us met up at the Cleghorn exit around 10:30am, unfortunately there was a fender bender on the 91 freeway which involved a few in our group. Luckily I heard everyone was ok and only minor damage to I believe two of the JK’s in the group. The final attendance was around 20 JK’s. We split up into three separate groups but eventually all met on the top of the ridge to share lunch and talk Jeep talk.

The trail itself was moderate to easy with one section that was pretty hairy. All the harder sections had bypasses, most everyone opted on NOT taking the bypases.

I had a great time. Thanks to 08redJKnCa for putting on the run! I know I saw a few other cameras’s out there so I’m sure their pics will do a bit more justice once posted.

Paul (mm4x4) did someone say let there be light? Nice light bar are you running HID's? We follow you if there's ever a night run!

Thanks! I just added the light bar with lights the other night. The lights are Hella 700FFs halogens... but I'm planning on upgrading the bulbs with HIDs soon. I'd love to do a night run.

btw - you gonna be up at Mammoth before the Niagara Rim Run? I'll call you Thursday!

 

So, yes... We'll be stopping over in Mammoth Thursday and heading up to Friday morning to Niagara Rim. I'll snag us a campsite.
