Default JK (FT Long Arm) Trail Ride with Carnage (lots of pictures)

This past weekend a co-worker and I decided to hit some trails in 12 Degree weather, -13 with wind chill factored in. We had a great time and hit some nice trails managed to break a rear JK axle shaft.

Specs on the JK because it has changed.

Full Traction 6" Long arm
37" Pro Comp Xtreme M/T
Pro Comp Wheels Series 7189
Auburn Ected Dana 30 & Dana 44 Lockers
4.88 Superior Gears
Stock JK Shafts
Unichip Module
Rock Hard Roll Cage
Xenon Flat Flares
Rugged Ridge Modular Bumpers
JE Reel 1350 Series Driveshafts
Mopar Rubicon Axle Disconnects (Conversion Kit for Non Rubi Models)
the list goes on and on.........

Now for the Axle Carnage, we are now replacing the stock JK shafts with Superior Discovery Series Shafts. They should hold up to some abuse.

The shaft when we pulled it out!

The Twisted splines that were wedged into the locker.

The locker

Aww come on you can tell us. You went out in that cold weather just to see what would break so you would have a reason to tell the wife that you needed heavier duty parts. Awsome flex pic!!!!

Sounds like it's time for some Rock Jocks or Dynatracs.

Thats exactly what happened. He had it to the floor and the back tire came off the ground. When it landed (pop).
