Is it just me or does it seem like there isn't quite enough spline engagement between the axle shaft and the thrust gear? It looks like it started twisting about 3/4" from the end even though there's about 2" of splines.

I totally agree with you guys, when we first pulled the shaft out I thought the same thing!

But the owner did drive the Jeep from the trail to the shop here at work. It was about 30 miles. The whole way the shaft was smacking into the broken pieces.

Superior Shafts Installed in the rear, the front is on the way.
