Default John Bull 3N10

FunN4Lo has been busting my chops for a while now that he thought I was ready to take on the infamous John Bull trail in Big Bear, so last Saturday Bill and I met up with him, Rockrash and j-sack (riding shotgun with Rockrash) to see what it was all about. What a blast, I think this is my new favorite trail. Photos don't do this trail justice - it is rated difficult (triple black diamond on the sign ) and lockers are recommended, although none of have lockers and we didn't have a problem (I even have painted fenders ).

You can't clear this obstacle with 33's without high-centering; 35s just make it

My bumper sitting on the rocks on the other side

After the trail we visited the little-known Racetrack playa in Big Bear:

On Sunday we went with FunN4Lo to check out some of the Yellow Post sites to plan for future adventures.

We found a water crossing to play in:

If you're interested I have lots more photos here (expand your browser for best viewing).

I know Rockrash got photos and some video that he's going to post, too.

Thanks to FunN4Lo, Rockrash and j-sack for making our first time on John Bull so much fun with so little damage...just a few battle scars to be proud of. Can't wait to go back!

Thanks for the invite I've given you guys a stock front bumper AND a rear tow hook and this is the thanks I get? Just kidding, I'm just jealous. I really need to get up there and see what it is all about.

Not to Hijack but I had to say hi to a fellow Rogue!
Howdy!
Inspired by Rogue Warrior, Rogue Spear or the comic?

I'm also a bit new to the jeep scene but this plate got more compliments....and also got me pulled over quite frequently.

Anyways welcome
