Default Killington Jeep Jamboree 7/17-18

Here's a couple of videos from Killington Jeep Jamboree this past weekend
7/17-18

This was on the Vertigo Trail on Saturday the 18th.
It is located on Pico Ski Area and is only open to vehicles
during the Jamboree.

Thumbs up Vertigo

I ran Vertigo last saturday - lots of mud, rocks and blackflies- but still a great time, the Jamboree was pretty good this year.

Did you make it into the woods on the last section of Vertigo where everyone got turned around?
We made it 2 jeeps away from the hill and the guides decided timewise to turn us around. THen one of the guys discovered his JK had a cracked track bar braket/broken steering stabilizer.

Hey there! We had such a blast at the JJ in Killington (we were "the girls" in "the red bus") -ha,ha! We did five corners on Day One and Vertigo on Day Two. On Vertigo, I made it fine thru the first obstacle but ended up winching myself on the second one. Never even made it into the woods on Birch Glade...oh well. We had a great time regardless!

So...we had so much fun, now I am really motivated to join our local jeep club! I am looking at two different clubs - and their broader affiliation/regional clubs. My big question is, how do you get to know other club members for sponsorship if you're a newbie to Jeeps? I was a member of a Land Rover club previously but that was a whole different thing. Any suggestions? What club(s) do you all recommend? Any members of one of the CT or NorthEast clubs looking to sponsor a highly enthusiatic newbie like me? Here's one of our vids from Vertigo....thanks for looking!!

NOPE!
Only during the Jamboree is wheeling allowed.
At least on Killington and Pico.

You're the Red Rubi bus.

Check out www.NEJeep.org
Two groups of new members were just accepted.
I was in the first.
All the info is in the Public area of "Jeep Talk" the forum.
Basically send in your app, show up at a public meet and greet and be patient.
All the M & Gs area posted way ahead of time.
Very family oriented and a couple of members in your immediate area.

PM me w/ anyother specific questions.
