Las Cruces Chile Challenge 2012
So as usual the Chile Challenge always runs the same time I'm coaching one sport or another, this time basketball. Luckily though we were knocked out early and I had a very last minute chance to get a run in this year. So Friday afternoon I headed up to Las Cruces and was fortunate enough to get in for a run on Saturday. While I was there I got to check out the vendor displays and got the chance to talk with the Nemesis rep as well as Dennis Wood from Teraflex, as well as check out their rigs which were beyond cool. While I was also there I got to hit the RTI ramp for fun and quickly have come to appreciate the articulation I've got on my Jeep. Pictures can be seen here: Vendor Display and RTI ramp

On Saturday my wife and I headed up to Cruces (way too early for her liking) and got in with our group for Hopping Jalapeno. Condsidered to be a "moderate" trail we had a count of 6 Jeeps and 1 full size truck, of which two of the Jeeps were stock and one of those was a very brand new 2012 four door (still had paper plates). As expected for a moderate trail here it had it's up's and down's for everyone, but thankfully no major breaks. I think the pictures say a lot more than I can so they're here: Hopping Jalapeno pt. 1 and Hopping Jalapeno pt. 2
And a little preview:
