Usually this event has an awful name and people have quit going. This year the crowd was less than half of a normal year. Was a lot better and seemed to be far less of the drunk mouthy people this year. Usually there are around 15,000 ppl. I think it's the largest off road event in Texas.

I've lived here a few years and grew up an hour away from here. My jeep now looks a lot different than it did not long ago. I used to wheel a cj7 stretched on 40s coilovers and the last one was a YJ buggy on rocks and 49s. Now I have 2 little boys to haul around. So switched to a jku.
Miss this one......

All the crazy people from that jeep club, the outlaws. Heh. We used to drive up to the river when I lived in Lubbock for a while. One of those pics going down a STEEP narrow road looks like what we called widow maker. Steep drop off to the right when going down.
I like the big boulder one you have pictured. I took my old ZJ down it easy, but with no lockers, it would not make it up.
