Mixil's Off-Road Video Journal
I purchase some video equipment earlier this year so I could share my off-road experiences with family and friends. I have posted some of these a few times in various other threads. So, this journal (not a diary) is the off-roading experience from my Jeep's point of view.
Badlands Off Road [7-2-11]
This was my second trip to Badlands Off Road Park in Attica Indiana. On this trip we had 5 Jeeps and saw about half of the 700 acres. We spent a majority of our time there on "The Orange Trail" and "The River".

Badlands Off Road [8-6-11]
This was my third trip to Badlands Off Road Park in Attica Indiana. We had around 30 Jeeps on this trip, which we divided into several smaller groups. We saw "The Orange Trail", "The River", "The Dunes", and "The Quarry".

Bundy Hill Offroad [9-25-11]
This was my second trip to Bundy Hill Offroad in Jerome Michigan. We had around 20 Jeeps on this trip divided into a couple of groups. This was my first time as a trail guide, which proved interesting since I had no idea where I was going and the trails are not as well marked as the could have been. My memory cards filled up before we took a trip into a pine forest that was too narrow. Oops!

ODZ Jeep Jam [10-8-11]
On October 8th of 2011 a group of 250 Jeeps made the short trip from Fort Wayne Indiana to Kessie Jeep Farm in South Whitley Indiana. This event was a benefit for the local Disabled American Veterans.

Badlands Off Road [3-24-12]
My first outing for 2012. My brother and I met up with two of our cousins at Badlands Off-Road park in Attica Indiana. We explored some areas I had not seen before.

After we got a ways in I figured it was an ATV trail. I looked for signs, but I didn't see any. Both times I went to Bundy I ended up on ATV trails. I agree, they seriously need to work on the trail markings.
After some copyright issues with YouTube, I finally got my latest video up.

Sweet videos! Two loves combined together Halo and Jeeps! I've always wanted to use Halo songs in some of my videos. Never thought it would work...well other than my Halo videos but I think I'm going to try it as well.

I have two GoPro Hero HD cameras. I think I have 6 mounting locations on my Jeep. I posted some of them here. I also have a Canon T3 that I use mostly for still photos. I don't use the Canon as much because it only records in 720p, where the GoPro(s) support 1080p. I usually record at 960p (4:3 aspect).
I am using Sony Vegas Studio HD Platinum 11 for editing.

Did you see the sign at the end that said quads and dirt bikes only. They really need to work on the trail markings
