Peru trail by Keystone is easy but the views and these old abandoned mines are simply amazing!

Why would we laugh when your file is a cutie pie?
We actually took my Wife's Expedition EL on the Peru Trail; wasn't hard just slow in spots.

Ive always wanted to go do the Peak 10 trail at breck even though its not very difficult... I love to board there and think it would be nice to see what its like in the summer. When you get a lift and some meaty tires, there are plenty of fun, rocky, scenic trails in or around park county. BTW, is there a jeep dating section on this site?? From the looks of it, there really needs to be.

Peru Creek is a nice trail but can basically be done in most 2 wheel drive vehicles, unless you venture above the mill building that heads straight up the mountain. It can get pretty hairy up there. Otherwise the whole trail is short and can be done in a Honda Civic. Check out Cascade Creek near Idaho Springs or Mcchellen Mountain near Georgetown. Both have moderate areas with mostly easy sections that offer awesome views. Last time I was at the top of Mcchellen mountain it started hailing and I had to ride the whole way back down the mountain in a rain/hail storm.
