More Darnell Creek pictures
We went back to Darnell Creek for Mother's Day weekend, but this time, I had my TF 2.5" coil lift and 35s. The trail is fairly light, but it's really cool with streams, waterfalls and tons of wildlife. Here are some pics:
Parked at our cabin near the Blue Ridge Parkway.

On the trail with a little bit of flexing. I disconnected the sway bar and still had some more room. My tires rubbed against the front bumper when I turned the wheel just a bit. I'm already looking at a Hanson stubby front bumper.

My daughter just had to get in the water! The water was about 40 degrees, but she took it like a champ. There was no way of getting her out of the water.

Keeping our drinking water cold:

And another with daddy:

After a fun morning of trails and streams, we went for a quick 5-mile paddle ride up the South Fork of the New River - only about 15 minutes from the trails. That's my 20-year old nephew standing up in the Jeep.

My daughter was great the entire ride - she fell asleep on the trail, so she was ready for a 2-hour trip on a canoe - she loved every minute of it. She blew bubbles, threw bread crumbs at the geese and splashed water. She even helped row a bit. She'll be 3 years old this month and loves the outdoors.

Hope you've enjoyed the pictures as much as we enjoyed our weekend.

It's our cabin, but we rent it on occasion. You can visit our website at andreaslodge.com for more details. I've been meaning to advertsie on the forum and have considered contacting WOL for sponsorship. I can offer discounts to fellow JK'ers. PM me if you're interested.
Thanks for all the compliments. We have tons of fun every time we go, but we often only make it twice a month.
