Hey there. The girlfriend and i will be in the ouray/telluride area at that time. Which trails were you planning to do? I definitely want to make the trek over black bear pass and would love to have some company at least for that one.

I'm coming out to Silverton with a group from Iowa that week, don't know where all we are going.

going to be there july 21-24 or so and for sure planning on Blackbear, and some of the other passes I want to do Poughkeepsie gulch if I can talk my brother into to taking his new jeep on it. He is nervous about blackbear too but I figure I can drive thru the bad areas for him until he gets his sea legs.

I will be there 28-30, I plan on wheeling 2 of the 3 day. Thinking Mineral creek, part of Engineer pass (just to oh point and summit), california gulch and if have time cork screw gulch one day. The other day will be ophir or black bear (if I can get the girlfriend to go for it) and back Imogene to Ouray and maybe up Governor basin depending on time. We are staying at comfort inn in Ouray. Will also be traveling with girlfriends two grandboys 9 and 13.

I believe the lone star jeep club will be up there. A real good group of folks.

Heading out there Oct. 3rd-4th for some aspen viewing and possibly some snow wheeling! It's going to be amazing as always.
