My wife and I will be there 8/2 - 8/6. Lone Star Jeep Club will be there July 24 -31.

 

Arrived in Ouray Today, and when I pull into town I smell Rotten Eggs coming from the Engine. Figured out that the battery is getting over charged and is boiling out Hydrogen Sulfide. So I've got to head back to Montrose to have the alternator checked and get a new battery. Battery is only 6 months old and has maybe at most 2000 miles on it. So I'm thinking the alternator has gone bad. Sucks. Not how I wanted to start another Ouray tip again.

 

If you guys are still there, we will be in the area tomorrow to try and do black bear.
We are currently in MOAB and going to do Top of the World this evening
