Default private property laws

is it illegal to wheel in a creek on private property? someone told me it was. I just want to be sure. this is in virginia. thanks for your help

I'm no expert on the law, but Private Property generally doesn't mean open to the public.

Sorry is this a real question? If it is private property stay out without permission of the property owner... Key word would be private owned by someone that is not making it open to the public.

This kind of question pisses me off because it extends into the same thing when you wheel off the trail. Stay the trail stay on designated routes and stay off of peoples property who don't invite you.

In new york you can float the water in a boat but the land under water is owned by the land owner

I think the question is, can you drive in a creek, on private land that either belongs to him or he has permission to wheel on from the owner? It's about the creek.
