Project-JK 3rd Annual Last Chance Canyon Newbie Run 05/16/09
As much as I like to play hard on the rocks, I have to admit that wheeling with newbies is just as much fun if not more so. The excitement, nervousness and thrill of accomplishment that you get to share with them as they conquer their first intimidating obstacles is an experience that just can't be bought. And, it is reason why I look so forward to doing runs just like these on a regular basis.
For our 3rd Annual Last Chance Canyon Newbie Run, we had a total of 33 JK's who showed up for the run and 4 of which just came to be a big help. And, although camping is not required for this run, it is something that we have done every year to date and it's usually the highlight that everyone remembers most.... or not, depending on how many shots of American Honey you did the night before
Anyway, here are a few highlight pics from our run.....
Being that we had folks coming from all over SoCal, a few in our group met up with toad and Bullfrog for breakfast in Lancaster and the rest of us met up at the Bravo Burger in Adelanto....
Making a last stop in Johannesburg to top off the tanks before hitting the trail...

I know I've said it before but I just wanted to let you all know that in spite of the crazy heat, we had a great time with all of you and I hope you did as well. Thank you so much for all the fun! Also, a super BIG THANKS really needs to go to fish, bullfrog, toad and serveapurpose for your invaluable help in making this run possible and enjoyable for all that joined us. You guys and gals are the best!!

are you kiddin, couldn't have done it without your help. also, thank you so much once again for bringing out the cold ones for us. it sure helped us out a lot not having to bring out a big ass cooler. i owe you big time
