So I have a question, I am still pretty new to the forum, and to offroading as a whole. My question is... with all the cool pictures, fun and exciting stories I hear/read. How does one go about finding out when these events are? Are they by invitation only, or is if you are a member of the forum your invited? I am from Nebraska, so I am kinda cut off from everybody in So-Cal, but I am really wanting to get involved, and have some real fun!

 

Find out if there is a Nebraska group/Staging Area here on the forum is a good start. Then setting up or attending a Meet and Greet / Suds & Grub to put faces with the handles. Also if you are headed out west check with the staging areas in the areas you are visiting to see if there are any runs coming up. Having a well equipped rig is usually your invitation to some of the tougher trails but other than that I have never seen an invite system. The only thing that holds me back is having a stock JK for now. Once I add the lift and tires to mine I will definitely take advantage of my investment and hit all the beautiful trails out here in California. Hope this helps!

One of the best thing is JK-Forum/Project-JK has free membership and free runs. Check out if you have other Forum members in your area and spearhead your own Suds and Grub or runs. If you are really into it , you can plan on attending the bigger parties like Roktoberfest or Shamrocked.
