Wow, seems like a great trip to places most people will never experience. My wife, who hates wheeling because of an accident she was in on the dunes before I met her, grew up living "off the grid" in the California and Nevada deserts. I think she would have loved this trip as she alway talks about moving back to the desert someday. Maybe we can plan a vacation next year that includes one of your milder runs. Great pictures, thanks for sharing.

I think everyone has the same opinion about that walking on water photo. Wow!

Oh, the others are very nice as well.

what makes the water shots so awesome is that the odds of there being water there at all is pretty rare. in the 20 some years that i have been exploring the mojave desert, this is only the 2nd time that i have seen this much water in this particular lake bed. and, there literally was only about 2" of water in it. if the rains keep up, it should stay for a bit longer but more than likely, it will dry up in a hurry.
