Oh I have the picture ... here's my JK just taking a breather and resting up against the tree. Any movement forward or back would have ripped a fender flare off. So I just sat tight until Tyler winched my front end off the tree so I could back out. Hard to see in the picture but the little yellow sign on the tree says "Bypass" and it points right...next time I'll opt for the bypass.
Damage was minimal, just a few new "beauty marks" on the door where my mirror was wedged between the tree and door.

Ok, i got a lot of pictures... so this will take a few post to get every thing in.
We had 10 folks in our group, 2 JK's, 4 TJ's, 2 Chevy's and 2 Hummer H3's. fun crowd, and we wound up doing mostly blues and a few blacks. The Hummers were the only ones that didnt do the blacks, but stayed with us on the blues up until one of them blew his t-case and had to be towed out of the park.
anyway, here are the good pictures out of the 351 i took

and more:

this H1 was sitting on a 3" lift and running 40's, he was also leading a group of big TJ's that were trying to keep up with him. Later saw them doing a black trail where he just bounced right over while the jeeps had to crawl over everything. apparently the differential on the solid axles made them have to pick lines that would allow them to clear the rocks sticking up in the trail while he just costed right over them.

Yeah, believe me, I was a bit bummed it happened again! I hate carnage, especially to someone else's rig. I can live with damage to my own, but someone else's I feel bad. However, Howie's was minor, and could have been worse. Thaknfully he stopped when he did, and waited. I think it was a successful recovery, since the damage was minor. Good work on Chris' job too, getting some wood to push him off.
Yeah we saw the H1 and his group too. They were headed, out on a green trail, and appeared to be having some issue with the size! Nice rig, defintely set up nice, and capable. Just a beast to manuever.
