David,

How did the battery do with that many winch pulls? I have always wandered if I had to winch myself out of a trail like the Rubicon would a single battery due the job?

Both me and mmccurdy have dual deep cycle batteries

Now I can see continuous use of winch through out the trail with one single dry cell battery. However during the evenings we both had all of our lights on, headlight, offroad lights and roof lights. I would probably keep those lights off if I was only on a single.

Awesome pictures!

I have never done a multiple night trip and always wondered what you guys did to clean yourselves? I didn't notice any portable showers?

Waterless bath, baby wipes, jumping in the water near by (use Bio-Eco soap like Wonder Soap & etc...), or just no shower at all sometimes. Sometimes the evening or morning temperature can be so low that the last thing you can think of is to shower.

I actually have a 2.5Gal portable pressure washer that can be use to wash dishes, and basic wash of hair, and etc.

Sometime the portable shower is just not an option when water is must conserved for survival reasons.

Thumbs up

Awesome!

With the exception of the persnickity weather and mmccurdy's breakage, it looks like a spectacular trip!

You guys really know how to live it up in the camp site too
~ Good food, good drink ...and nice company
