Default Saddleback to Wildomar

Started out at 8am at the Silverado entrance to Saddleback and went to the top (radio towers) Awsome view above the clouds over O.C. Have not been up there in years not really a challenge but a heck of a view.

Caught a bit of a surprise on the way up SNOW!!!!

This was at the turn to head to 15 on Bedford trail. We tried to make it all the way to the 74 through the mountains, but ended up having to come back to this turn off after we hit a locked gate off Holy Jim Trail.

Made our way down to the 15 from Bedford Trail to Temescal RD the up the 15 to the 74 and up to Hells Kitchen for lunch. It is a very popular spot at the top of Ortega Hwy.

After a steak sandwich we were off for part two of our adventure Wildomar OHV. The turn off is only a mile from Hells Kitchen. As Rangleme put it got some beautiful pinstriping by nature. When the Jeep trails got exhausted we stretched it a bit and purseued some shall we say narrower trails. Anyway I stayed on trail so everyone just calm down, no rare magic skunk weed wildomar but beetles were injured! We did however manage to bring some friends home for the ride. A two door would have had an easier time navigating these trails, but I was not going to let that stop me. There is one rediculous trail that I dared not try, some of you probably have seen it before it is designated by the upside down Jeep spray painted on a rock at the top of the hill that says turn back no joke!!!!

Home at 5:30 pm that was a long day

Awesome shame you didn't get a picture of the upside down jeep drawing would have loved to have seen that.

I didn't know there was still snow up there! Great that the trail is open up to the top again. How did the burn areas look?

Default Turn Around/No Joke

That's funny,
I was there just before noon with my boys and their friends. I went down that "Turn Around/No Joke" trail today (not sure what it's called). This was my second time going down it. I went down that trail with two other jeeps two weeks ago. One of my buddies dumped his CJ7 on its side on his way down. The spectators were cheering when he tipped. We just pushed him over and on he went. It's only tough for the first 50 yards, then its easier. I have a couple pics of my jeep going down the bottom part of the trail today. My son took the pictures, so they aren't that great.

Wish I could have tagged along! Next time when we are down in Cali I will have to get you to take me for a tour on some of the wheeling area's!!!

I got a good laugh at the tiny snow pile.....I will send you some snow your way if you like....I still can't get to any good wheeling area's yet....still stinking 4-6 ft of the white stuff and I am itching to get out wheeling!
