Saddleback to Wildomar
I know main divide well from the 74 side... but have never tried to get up on main divide from the west.
are there any offshoots worth playing on?
The trail head points are a good start, but its the turns in route that concern me. I don't trust google maps to be accurate. Plus I don't know where the gates are on the west side. We can always just figure it out though...
You wouldn't happen to have some GPS points for the western part of this run... start point to temescal. I would like to get up there, but all this closed gate nonsense would be quite frustrating after driving all that way.

The name of the apostle and patron of the Spains, Santiago (Saint James) was frequently used in Spanish times for place names. Santiago and Modjeska combined, is known locally as "Saddleback". This peak was labeled Santiago Peak when the Geological Survey mapped the Corona Quadrangle in 1894. They also changed the name "Cussing Jim" to "Holy Jim". Santiago Peak is the highest point in Orange County. It is the high point of the Santa Ana mountain range
