This is at the Paiute indian reservation at Pyramid Lake, Northern Nevada
There are a lot of spots, some with primative facilities and some without, some 4wd is required, sand very soft and beach's have white sand
Fires are a very touchy subject
Best call (775) 446-1155 (Pyramid Lake Ranger Station) for permits, costs and restrictions

I don't know if there are any Xterra owners viewing, but I got my "hatch tent" for my X and it also works, with adjustable alts, on my JK
It's a wonderful, big tent, easy in, easy out and seals up good and tight !!

Kodachrome Basin State Park, UT. We camped here while visiting nearby Bryce Canyon. Much less crowded and stunning scenery--you're surrounded by a ridge line except at one small opening through which the road passes. I especially like the rock tower in the photos up top--not quite certain, but it reminds me of something ...
