I visit this sight frequently during the summer. Just for the day or camping down at Jackson creek. Maybe next year at Meadow Lake during the Sierra Trek. I don't have any pictures so I thought I could borrow yours?

Good Lord! I hope not. It breaks my heart to see forested areas like that burn up. That being said, I believe "natural occuring" forest fires are the natural renewal proccess for a healthy ecosystem for the decades to come. We may loose the beauty of some of our favorite spots, but it will return even more beautiful for our grandchildren and/or great grandchildren.

Sorry, that was gay wasn't it.

My thoughts go out to all of you in SoCal affected by the fires. I truely hope everthing works out for the best in all cases.
