Default Southern Michigan Trails?

Does anyone know of some decent Southern Michigan trails? Looking for something that doesn't have deep mud. Thanks.

Too bad the Kal-Haven trail is only for Mt. Bikes. That trail goes all the way from Kalamazoo to South Haven.

If you know where to go at the Mounds, you can avoid a ton of mud and have some fun. They just opened the first phase of the rocks course too!

I'm lazy and don't like to clean up after a day of mudding. I've been there and done that in my earlier days while stationed at Camp Lejeune in the early 90's.

The Mounds are located in Genesee County north of Flint between I-75 and I-69.

Okay so this may be a dumb question but I was reading about the mounds and it states that everyone must ware a helmet and eye protection, this doesn't apply to us does it? - KY
