Tons of Mega Run '08 pics!
Some good firends, my parents, my girlfriend and I all went to the Mega Run '08! It was awesome! I really pushed my JK's capabilities. We ran class 2's, 3's, and 4's and had virtually no problems. My JK really seemed to impress everyone, being able to keep up with everyone with no lockers and beeing the shortest clearence and longest vehicle in the group. We hooked up with a couple of buddies of mine from www.txzr2.com and ran some trails with them; It was a good over all weekend. I ran a totall of 26 trail runs, and 15 differnt trails. I can't wait till next year! Enough talking, lets see some pics!
P.S. keep watching this thread for the video, as it is about half way finished.
Here are some of the pics that I have aquired. I am still to get the pics out of my digi, and I haven't had a chance to get my 35mm developed. So keep watching for more pics!

This was one of the easiest to understand recounts from my jeep clubs forum, but an issue with a wide open throttle and possible inexperienced driver error might have been the cause. The Brute was brought down by a local Jeep Dealer here in Dallas.
"We were only on the trail maybe 5 minutes, can't remember the name of the
trail. It's near the front gate. Anyway the Brute comes around the top of the hill making a right hand turn. Apparently the drive by wire isn't a good thing for off-road since it decided to take of. The driver tried to stop it by hitting a tree, that didn't work and caused the Brute to proceed down into the white JK. They both flipped and the pics show the end result. The man with the neck brace was driving the Brute, didn't own it from what I was told, he came out good and we saw him later at the raffle. The JK was winched out and that was the last we saw of it. Everyone involved must have been on someone's good side since there were no injuries."
