A stock Sahara? uhm... no. Not unless you want to do some undercarriage or body damage ;-)

Made a run out to the Peg Leg Sand Bar in Chilliwack with the family.

Cooked some hot dogs on a fire, drove across some tributaries of the Fraser River and played in the sand dunes. Kids had a great time.

Video and pics found on my personal blog - Overlandjeep.ca

Great video as always. But looking at the parts showing your suspension, I think you are really limiting your up travel by running the double bump stops. Unless you risk grabbing your fenders, I would remove the upper one and just use the lower one.

Cool video as usual love the still shots of the family having fun!!!
Couple questions: ever entertain the thought of a snorkel?
Also what tire carrier, rotopax cans and storage carrier on top the spare do you have? One piece from same company or not? Thx

Thanks for the comments!

I'll eventually get an AEV snorkel... a few of my buddies have them and are getting real experienced at cutting the hood ;-)

As for the rear setup, deets are here: OverlandJeep.ca And a few pics of the rear setup are at the bottom of the page.

Cheers! ~ Paul.

Thanks!

Yes, I agree. Originally the 34" Nittos were supposed to be a temporary thing before I went to 37's... and with 37s I figured I would need the bumpstops as they are currently. Now I'm just too lazy to pull the springs out and remove the uppers... And I'll get 37s eventually ;-)

Cheers! ~ Paul.

My wife bought me the wifi bacpac and remote for my Birthday last year, just days before the Hero3 came out with that built in! Doh!

But I don't like it... I find the connection between the remote and the gopro is spotty at best, lag time between button presses sucks. And I find that I charge the remote and it keeps searching for the wifi bacpac even when it's off... which kills the remote battery.

So for my past few trips, I've gone back to the battery bacpac instead and just go manual button pressing ;-)

Cheers! ~ Paul.
