Looks like a great time at the Maze. Did you go down the hiking trail adjacent to the overlook? Last time down the Flint Trail for me was in 2009-was surprised how much the park service had widened the road-it was steeper and narrower in the 60's and 70's. On a side note, Mark, I did find the slides from my winter trip in 1971. Will get them scanned and to you sometime this summer as I am dealing with getting my Mom thru hip surgery and moving her to assisted living. Thanks for part 2-looking fwd to part 3.

We did not hike the trail. Something for a future trip. As you intimate, the road out to Maze Overlook is relatively easy--the biggest challenge for most folks will probably be finding the time to get that far off the beaten path. Look forward to seeing your pics!
