Anyone going to Uwharrie this weekend?

 

Just a heads up, the trails are open but all of the campgrounds are closed due to the Gov shutdown. My club is going the following weekend, so hopefully this shutdown will be done since most of us were camping at Arrowhead.

 

Wish I could make a run. I have to re gear the front and work out some clearance issues with the rear 60. I have a trip planned in two weeks after I get everything sorted out.

 

Damn just went this past weekend. Let me see if I can't wrangle some people up

 

the local vendors are still able to sell trail passes and you have the option of camping on trail.

 

I have a group going from the 11th to the 13th. We are staying at Arrowhead also, unless they are still closed. If so, then we are going to camp trail side. Maybe we can hook up and run the trails together. We will have between 5 and 7 Jeeps going.

 

I will be up there with the Family for the Jamboree next weekend as well... Since Oct 12th is my anniversary I got to pick this year.. the kids are excited, I hope to meet a lot of people and am interested in jumping in a trail ride group if there is room.. I really hope the camp ground is open because we are set at Arrowhead as well

 

We have over 30 rigs slated to go. Some are already planning on primitive camping. My group is the Carolina Trail Stalkers, it won't be hard to figure out who we are, lol. I am sure we will be splitting up into smaller groups too, that would be hell getting that many rigs down a trail together.

 

Hopefully we well see you all there Oct 11.

 

I will be going up on the 18th staying at arrowhead if open. does anyone know if the bathrooms are open on the trail heads. site say all facilities are closed.
