Default Uwharrie 4xfun!!

Well rounded up some friends and hit the trails this past weekend. Uwharrie National Forest and OHV trails, we had about 5 in the group one who had to exit the nearest trailhead as he was overheating to start with then popped a radiator hose and ended his day. And then there were 4. We almost made it off the trails pretty safe until Kodak Rock.............. My buddy was taking a center line up the middle of the big rock garden and snap! Broke the drivers side rear axleshaft. So there we were hanging on to the two highlifts trying to change out an axle on the side of a mountain. 4 hours later we got it all put back together (lost a few very smal parts that were hiding quite well.) and headed up the trail to the head. I myself had a great ride and got to take my son and my new 35's out. We had a blast & the JK went great. Awesome Weekend!!! JOE>

I visited Uwharrie last fall and had a blast. Most fun you can have for $5. I can't believe more people on the board aren't posting pics about this place.

I will upload the video to youtube when I get some time tonight. I don't have alot of pics but I do have this one video, in which you can hear my wife about freak b/c I am cutting it too close to flipping for her taste. It is really worth a weekend trip for any east coasters looking for challenging trails. JOE>

Great Video - I have been to Uwharrie several times and the $30 for a year is cheap for the fun you can have - may join you next time if ya have room? These were all taken at Uwharrie, just getting into the main trails.
