Default Wheeler Lake July 4th

Wheeler Lake is a great trail because of obstacles and scenery. The lake and waterfalls at the top are great to sit, relax, fish. 3 rigs: RubiBldr, my wife, mine

Up the trail

Crossing a waterfall

RubiBldr on the trail

RubiBldr Flexing in an obstacle called "v notch"

More on the trail

Waterfall at top of trail. I circled my daughters to give a sense of scale

The lake. Everything is so big it is hard to get the scale

A Toyota Club caught up with us at the top

RubiBldr Taking a little harder line

Heading out

Where is wheeler lake located? It looks familiar to me but I am not sure. You are right about cameras not being able to accurately convey the sheer size of the mountains, both vertically and horizontally. A person really has to be there to experience it.
