Default OEM Rubicon wheels and tires.

This may be a dumb question , I've searched the forum but I may have misunderstood some posts that answer my question. I am relatively new to both the jeep scene and cars in general, I apologize for my ignorance.

I have a stock 2018 JKU Sahara and was looking at a pair of Rubicon wheel & Tires on Facebook marketplace . I like the look of these and am interested in them. My question is will OEM 33" tires fit on my Sahara without a lift or spacers? Ideally I would like to buy this rubicon wheel set that is available locally and then plastidip the rim's but not sure if I would need to purchase anything so that they fit properly.

Yes, the Rubicon and Sahara are fitted with the same exact size wheels on the JK.

There's no ignorance, that's what the forums are for. Quick reply because I've seen all the sizes and I've seen them swapped around. I've got Sahara tires sitting in the garage now.

I have a similar question...is the backspacing different? I have a 2013 sahara that I bought with takeoff rubicon wheels and tires,i believe their rubicon see pic, and when I took a wheel off the other week i noticed it had wheel spacers, but the wheels aren't sticking out or anything like that. As far as I can tell this jeep is on stock suspension.

Robz- you've got JL Rubicon wheels so the backspacing is different, but I don't know the specs on those wheels.

+1....no need to apologize for anything, we're all still learning as we go. I still see/learn new things all the time.

I just put on Gladiator JT Rubicon takeoff wheels and tires (17 inch by 7.5 inch wheels with Falken Wildpeak AT3W 285 70 R17 tires) on a stock 2016 Sahara unlimited. The stock wheels were 18 inch; now I get rubbing on the sway bar when tight turning in the parking lot with these new 17 inch wheels and tires.

What size spacers do you have on yours?

Im hoping that going with some good spydertrax spacers I can solve the rubbing issue; it was time to get new tires and thought this would be a nice upgrade to do but now Im doubting my decision to buy these take offs.

I'm not sure what size or brand spacers are on mine as we bought this jeep like it is. If I had to guess I'd say about 3/4" to an 1" maybe, although it's been a few weeks since I had the tires off so I'm not positive. I'll try to take a wheel off this weekend and post back up the spacer thickness. FYI I have the Falken Wildpeak AT3W on my f150 and love them :-)

Spidertrax 1.75" are popular. Your alternative is to adjust your steering stops.
