Default Really need help on wheel and tire set-up on TF leveling kit

So, I just installed the TF leveling kit...
I have a 2016 Freedom edition...3.21 gears

I had 275/70/18 Open Country R/T on order with
MM-489 -12 offset with 4.5 backspacing.

My worry on that set-up is the tires are NOT going to stick out of the fender wells...I would like that bulldog look

So, I thought of going 33x12.5x18 - that is 12.5 wide, is that too big?

or 285/75/18 - but that is a 34.8

HELP? Thoughts?

I'm running stock 255/75/17 on a wheel with 4.5 back spacing and they stick out about 1.5" outside the fenders. With a wider tire you will be outside even more.

Backspacing on stock rims is around 6.25". If your new rims are 4.50", the tires will sit 1.75" further out than the stock setup.

That is wide stance you are wanting, right? Maybe you are just thinking too far into this and confusing tire width with wheel backspace?

If you want to go with taller/wider tires, keep researching. Depending on size, you could end up having to trim the fenders, add washers to the steer stops, maybe trim pinch seams or rubi rails or the plastic air dam under the engine. Lots of variables, so hard to say what, if anything, you might run into.

I have the TF 1.5" leveling kit and run 315/70/17 Goodyear Duratracs, American Outlaw Marshal 17x9 wheels with 5.7" backspacing and they still stick out 1/2-3/4 inch beyond the fenders. Great no rub setup, won't stress the axles so much. By the way, regear. You won't regret it as it'll get your power and torque where it should be.

Do you have any pics? Did you have to do any trimming? I have the TF leveling kit, stock rims and 1.5" spacers. Wondering if I could fit same size tires as you

I have a TF Performance leveling kit and a 1" body lift. I'm running 1.5" wheel spacers and 295/70/18 Nitto Terra 2s. Mine don't stick out at all.
You can look through my album to see pics.

Why YES. You can. Here's a pic. I can drive forward full lock to lock no rub.
