Welcome, Ruby, to the 35" tire club!

Before "lift"/tires

After "lift"/tires

I'm actually surprised at how little difference it seems to make in driving characteristics... But I guess having 4.10's and a manual just means it's not that big a deal!

Default Question about 35’s

I dont know how these forums work. I’ve never joined one. I just bought an 08 JKU and need tires. I want it to look only slightly modified with a little bigger tires. Do I need to lift to get 35’s with 17” black rims (I like a 5spoke) Would a leveling kit work?
Also, whats a good M/T that can take a lot of road wear?

If you want to cut your plastic fenders up, or run aftermarket fenders, you can run 35's with the leveling kit (or actually stock ride height). A 2-3" lift would work better though. Here is our old Rubicon with a 2.5" Teraflex lift and 35s.

Default Fierce 35 12.5 17's

Here is my Jeep with Fierce 35's on 17" rims. Bushwacker fenders and no lift in these photos. I've since put a leveling kit on it to give it about 1" more clearance.

Very happy with my Toyo Open Country 35s, but can't wait to do 37s.
