Default You guys keeping the TPMS when getting new wheels/tires?

The way I see it, pros: tells you psi, somewhat. Cons: chimes and lights when you air down. What you guys doing?

Nope, don't have them anymore. Have 17" Hutchison Rock Monsters on 35" for wheeling and 18" Sahara on 32" streetables for Daily Drive on my '13 JKUR.

'13 Rubi Wheels are gone, I ditched cuz the break. Made in China.

I am numb to the ding and light.
Blew my wad on wheels so have to wait on ding eraser.

Yep, kept them on my 35s, my 37s, and just installed them on my wheels today for my 40s. If I had stock tires, I wouldn't care so much as I could see visually if they look a little low. With larger tires, they have to be way low. I don't want to check the pressure constantly and don't want to roll around short 10 psi.

I've kept them on prior JKs, but this time I got rid of them and turned the system off with my Pro Cal. First time going wheeling with the new tires, minus the TPMS sensors, I noticed how much faster you can air down the tires without those sensors in there. I'll bet air down is twice as fast without having to do it through the sensors.

I'm glad I left mine on my 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers! I had some asshole ice pick my left rear and spare at a heliport while I was offshore, so I was able to monitor my tire psi on the 2 hr ride back to my house crew change day! So should you keep em on your wheels? Hell yeah! JMO

I sold mine when I sold my stock wheels/tires.
I can check my tire pressures like I have for the past 35 years I've been driving. Turned the light off with the ProCal.

You can also reset the range of psi with the Pro-Cal as well as turn the system totally off.

I got rid of my tpms when I went to 37's. It makes for a good selling point when trying to sell the stock wheels and tires. I just turned it off with my Pro Cal.

Kept them. Went from stock Sahara 18" to Duratrac 315/70R17 on M/T Classic IIIs. My tire guys (Kaufman Tires) transferred them and put plain stems in my stock at no charge .

I lowered the pressure sensor to 18psi with my FlashPaq. No worries.
