Nice straps! I've been looking for some just like that for my First Aid Kit.......want to screw them to the side and then be able to quick release the kit when needed. Thanks

Just did this one myself with a snow shovel though rather then a spade... for the winter anyway. (That's the last time I dig my way out of a snow bank with an ice scraper) and if you decide the sovel is just too nasty to bring inside when you are done you could use those straps or some large zip ties to attach the shovle verticaly to the spair tire... just pull it in tight it should stay. Oh and I found those straps at the $1 store for $1 for 4... home depot wants $7.95 for 2 up here.

Finally got around to taking some pics today, thought I would share.

I went with Quick Fists for the shovel, ax, and tow strap.

I've got the Hi-lift on the upper rear roll bar secured with a bunch of heavy duty velcro straps, including one on each end... doesn't move a millimeter in any direction, can hang my full weight from it, and no rattling even over speedbumps.

Depends on the size of the extinguisher however princess auto has some 4' orange ones... I bought them for my shovel without reading the package and didn't realize they were that long... had to rap them 5 or 6 times around
