How does the dash kit look in person? I'd like to get an aftermarket double din but hate the stupid extra wide opening.

I'm pretty picky but looks perfect. To make sure the gaps are symmetrical you can play around with the 4 screws.

What dash kit did you use? I have only found one on ebay, but it appears to be for a single din only:(

It's the Metra 95-6511 Chrysler/Jeep DDIN 2007 Dash Kit.

Great Thread. I plan on doing this to my new 2012 JK. It has low end radio and manual windows and locks, but Im working on that.
