Wow... I've never noticed that there's a hole there.. I might check this out BEFORE dropping something in there...

 

I asked on another thread too but... where in the hell does this hole lead to? I have lost so much stuff in there I am embarrassed to list it all. Could stuff in the hole cause issues later?

 

Mine swallowed my droidx like two weeks ago. ..

DONE! Used 1/2" got 2-6' pieces, one for the Dash Hole & one to cut for fallen French fry prevention.
I added a Dash Hole before pic...almost lost my Gecko bottle opener back there once! Never again!

I checked my '11 today at lunch and they have it blocked now!

 

I think they are blocked on the 2010 too.. I'm always looking for some great mod idea but I can't find this damn hole.. maybe I'll make one just for blocking it ? ...

 

Awesome cheap mod. After spending hours last night fishing out a lighter that a friend tossed up on the dash not knowing about the black hole I finally got it out. Pain in the arss. 2 bucks and 10 minutes later no more worries. Seriously Jeep you should consult us before designing these things!

 

Payed $42 for my campus parking permit, threw it up in the dash as well. And bye bye... Hopefully i'll get it out before i got to move on campus next Wed. Mod getting done first thing Sat.
