I lost my car keys down there. I had to let the window down to get them out. And yes, that gap is there to let the front window down. I was looking at that as I was lowing the window. It gets very small while the window it rotating.

I lost my key xtra for the glove/console box back there and didn't even know it. Took me a week to eventually find it back there; it seemed like the only place it could be since the last time I saw it...
Foam will be installed soonly.

I am thinking about putting the foam insulation in, once I get time to go to the store.

Has any one tried anything else other than the foam?

Has the foam caused any problems?

Thanks

No problems here husker_fan. I pushed mine down much further than the original poster had in his pics so it's more flush w/ the dash.

I'm from Omaha, where do you go wheeling?

Not much wheelin' so far, unless a corn field counts, only had the Jeep for a couple months, hoping to go to Colorado either this year or next. Anywhere in Nebraska you would suggest?

(sorry about the thread hijack)

Same here, I've had the pipe insulation foam that I bought at ACE hardware in for about 1.5 year now and no problems. Highly recommend doing this.

We wondered where all that stuff went and now we know how to prevent it from happening again for only $1.67.

A real deal.

YAY!!! I just told a friend of mine that EVERY Jeep will eventually ahve a super ball in it!! He saw the one in my Jeep and was laughing because he had just found one in his Jeep. Kids bounce 'em and the Jeep is naked...that's where they go!
