Do you work for this company? Every one of your posts on here is about this product. Trying to drum up business?? If you want to advertise on here, do it right.

Default Help!!

Did anyone else have a problem getting their hinges off the doors??? I wrecked two T50 torx bits trying to get the screws off the hinges from the doors. I think their is just an excesive amount of paint on the doors, but when everyone else is saying it was a piece of cake to get the hinges off, I got nervous. I tried to take a razor and cut around the screws to make the removal easier, but it didn't help much. Any input?

Mine were a little stiff, but came off rather easily. Actually I was surprised at how easy it was.

This is why I am a little nervous. My screws do not want to move...

i had a few that were harder then normal to take off, but i bought a socket and used a breaker bar, put good preasure on it and had a buddy tap the bar with a hammer, and they broke loose.

it is a trick i learned for breaking bolts on tracks for 113's when i was in the army and it works great

I just used steady even pressure and my wife held the door in place. They were a little difficult to get them to budge, but it wasn't too bad.

I just did mine as someone pointed out the bubbling paint on the upper passenger door hinge. Now I have to do something about the rust that was behind them. Damn jeep is only 8 months old. I am thinking prep the area and hit it with some of eastwoods rust converter. Works like a champ in a salt water enviroment should do wonders on the jeep.

Well it has been a while since I have done this and the only changes so far are :

1. I clipped a hinge with my door pin putting it back on and it chipped it

2. a couple of screws need some touch up....
