So when you line x your grill, did they " totally encapsulate" it? I was told by the local line x shop that they couldn't just spray the front of the grill because it would have a higher chance of peeling off.

I went the plastic dip route. Wicked easy. Bedlined the grill insert to match my boer and running boards. If the plastidip fails, I might go the bedline route.

Finally pulled the trigger and Raptor Lined the grill and a protective strip along the leading edge of the hood.

Just got doing my 07 JK X today, looks sharp! Ended up using duplicolor bumper paint.
