you'd kill your driveshaft before you hit the skid. But like it was stated, about an inch lower than the canister

Mine should be here today! I'll be under the Jeep this weekend... who am I kidding, it will be on tonight.

Had the Jeep sitting in the driveway with wrench in hand when the Brown Boy showed up around 5:00 pm. On by 5:20 pm (10 minutes to admire the skid before it dissappered under the Jeep). Good thing I installed it, my evap shows signs of rocks.

Just ordered one now!

I had a close call this weekend, judged my angle wrong and took a good hit underneath. It felt close to the evap, so I figured I had smashed it. Thankfully it hit a skid plate nearby though, so no problems.

Better to be safe than sorry next time, so looking forward to putting this on!

It looks like it may sit below to protect a little that silly rubber drive shaft boot.

What do you owners think?

Oh, and WTF was Jeep thinking??

Thanks for the order! I just sent you an email with questions on shipping methods. I have lots of these in stock and can get it shipped out today.

Thanks!

You're 100% correct. It does protect the boot and good portion of the driveshaft.
