Just wanted to give a big high five to OFF-ROAD unlimited , here in Houston. Just to give you the reader a play by play on my lift kit purchase nitemare. I purchased my 2010 jeep jk, 2 door about 4 weeks ago NEW!. it came with a 2.5 inch lift and 35's. Well that was cool, but i just wanted to go bigger...... So i had seen a shop near my home on the west side of town and thought, wow they do have some nice trucks! and are a local business. Me being a business owner I thought sure give them some business. Well I went in and ask the question what do i need to do to get 37's on my truck? the suggested 4 inch lift and spacers. I asked them if i needed anything else. And the said "O" no, we lfted it and put the 37's under the truck and things were great until the rear drive shaft broke at 180miles of high way dirving. So i contacted the shop they said bring it in, and they will tighen everything up. So i brought in and 2 hours later they called and said u need a rear shaft, they always need to be replaced at 4inch and above. Y they didnt try to sell me on this while I was having the lift done is unknown???? so i did what the suggested.... they are the professionals. I had some question and contacted them, question i had gathered for this form...... they quickly said that it was all options and i need not to listen. ( the question was do i need a frt. shaft and will i see vibrations?) they respond not now, but later ( on the drive shaft. )So the next day i went too pick up my truck they said , man there is a bad noise and the truck is sluggish and vibrating but they couldnt find the problum. and suggested i take it too the dealer So i thought man I'm total freaked out. I called Off road and ask them as they had as i had remembered lifted tons of jeeps. Long story short.... and several stressful days . I ONLY RECOMEND OFF ROAD UNLIMITED>>>>>> they fixed my truck. it was a cam kit and front drive shaft. Y the other shop had no idea about in of this is behond me. But 25 yrs. of experiance fix's everything. Go see Tom , he explains it all we will be taking my wifes jeep in next week for the. 2.5 inch lift.
