Default deep black shine for your plastic fenders and bumpers tip.

Here is my little trick to get the dried mud stains off your plastic bumpers and fender flares. I use the stuff that you spray on your tires to make them look wet and black, tire sheen. I've tried Maguires "back to black" armoral, 303, simple green, etc. but never got the results of a deep black shine like I do with tire sheen. Let me know what you think.

I used to use that stuff on my TJ flares, worked great. And the stuff i used smelled like cherry so i'd use it instead of armor all on the inside and it would smell nice inside too... but eventually with the flares i got tired of having to do it all the time and took em off, painted them with rustoleum black and clear coated then. i was suprised the paint actually took to the plastic, but it did... i baked each coat on in front of an old toaster rod looking heater, and when they were all done, looked like a brand new jeep. Stayed like that till the day i sold it. but for now, the JK flares are holding their color pretty good still so i'll be sticking with you tire sheen trick for a while yet.

I use Turtle Wax Ice, It keeps them black but not greasy shiney. Works great on the black jeeps as well, no white residue in the cracks.

I use 303 on all the plastics on the outside, but now I am temped to try the Turtle wax ice too. Mostly because the 303 takes a lot of time and is kind of a pain to do very often.

Black shoe polish. Small tin goes a lond way.
Does a great job on plastic hard top.
You will need to buff it.

303 is terrible. It lasts until the first wash or rain. The only thing good about 303 is the UV protection.

I have used just about everything out there. The best I have found is Magic Dressing No 33 made by AUTO MAGIC. I bought a one gallon jug and it will probably last me for the next 5-10 years!!

automagic.biz/dressing.htm

Its greasy when you put it on and it dries in about 1-2 hrs. It lasts a long time and looks awesome. On the interior, one application lasts for years. I use to run a high end detail shop and we used this stuff and got tons of compliments. People couldnt believe how it looked greasey and wet but it was NOT greasey to the touch and complety dry.

Try it and you will love it. It smells good too.
