Bofer84's Locker Mod Write-up
Your Sirius should not do that... You should get that fixed because it is a major safety thing to disconnect the battery ground anytime you mess with any electrical on the Jeep... Especially when you have airbags and Computer engine controls... An accidental short in something that you are working on could actually deploy the airbags or fry the engine computer.
You could always put some kind of battery backup system in line with your radio to supply 10 mins of power or something like that.
Do you have an Spod?
If not, you may be a little confused. Tapping into this wire from a powered switch will power the locker, but you're bypassing the OEM relay. The Spod uses a relay(activated by a switch) to power that wire.
So if you do not have an Spod, and you choose to power that wire, you'll have to run another relay anyway. Otherwise you would be supplying power to the locker from the same source that is supplying power to your switch.

In the end, there is more than one way to do it. Some are more complicated than others. If you have an empty sPod switch that you want to use for the locker(s) the simplest way is the one wire splice (per locker) that I mentioned above.
Well you have a couple of variables there...
Since we just did the mod for the rear, its hard to compare with the problems that you are having...
A couple of things come to mind...
If you turn off the engine completely and pull the keys, does the front locker light still flash?
Does it flash all of the time when the t-case is in all modes, whether it is locked or not?
If so, it sounds like either something is goofy with the computer, or that the dealer may have done something with the locker...
Do some more troubleshooting, trying different things, and post the results here...

4Lo... Hmm, not sure what to tell you, its definitely acting strangely... Sounds like you may have a problem associate with the dealer work you had done...
Neo, the best advice is just to try to keep it simple... If you really need to have that light come on when you hit the switch, then you probably will need to add in an additional relay and do the yellow orange or yellow white wire mod to bypass the relay, or you could still do the ground mod and add in a relay...
If you can do without the light... Stick with the ground mod with a simple switch.
