Cheap home brew quick disco's
Most of the after market disco's are made excatly like that, and most of them start rattling, and or break...and yeah, if you don't break them in the middle of a decreasing radius exit ramp, or in the middle of an emergency maneuver, you might not even notice it broke, until you ARE doing one of those manuevers. 
I think another way to do the same thing w/o all that welding and so forth, might be to simply drill a hole in the bolt, and slip a snap ring through it when its on, and pull out the snap ring when you want it disco'd.
Obviously, after pulling the snap ring - you'd just slide the bushing off, and you're disco'd.

You could just do one per side....the bottom for example, and then swing the bottom of the link up along the horz. section off the sway bar, etc.
