i did this relocate a little more than a month ago when i added a MBRP offroad exhaust. works perfectly!! it saved me $120 on the relocate kit so i put that money towards upgrading to the stainless version.

I did mine last week , just wonted to wait to see if any codes showed up, so far so good and have to say this has to be one of the best free mods, if your going to wheel even mildly then you have to move it or cover it or it's going to cost you eventually, great job on this one kids saved $100 easy.cheers
