Yeah I was thinking it would look good in a darker color, so I went ahead and painted it the same color as the jeep symbol ( https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-write-ups-39/jeep-painted-match-75480/ ) and AC rings ( https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...t=8294&page=33 ) I think it came out much better. What do yall think?

I was thinking that cutting up a old mouse pad would do the trick.

OMG this idea is awesome!!! the soft rubber or pad in there in a gray color finishes this mod off to be the trick!!!

It would also be cool to dip that angle bracket in some of that plasti-dip stuff like you use on the handles of tools and stuff... Its kinda rubbery, wont scratch things like glasses and cell phones...

Default my 2 cents

Go to Bed Bath & Beyond, ... I'm sure they are other places too, but get one of this "dash pads" they are black and really grippy, your supposed to be able to stick it to your dash and your phone wont slide off , even at an angle. They are a couple of bucks, but this would finish off the mod well, and its really grippy and much thinner then the mouse pad.

This is why I love this site... cool, cheap and very useful mods.
