I'm not sure if it's been mentioned here, but upon not finding ballcock shank washers I simply went with O rings. A pair for each shackle. Keeps them in there nice and snug, no clanking, moving around, etc.

The idea was so ingenious the guys at the offroad shop I went to commented on it. lol

Yeah, but then you don't have those big coolio shackles hanging of your bumper.

well, not me, i live in the snow belt, they suck up to my windshield in cold weather, and the salt dries 'em out.
